Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Pour over chicken and let marinate **for 2–24 hours**.
Preheat your grill to medium heat. If turning your gas grill into a smoker, preheat for at least 20 minutes or until the smoker box begins producing smoke.
Grill the chicken, turning after 7–8 minutes.
Pour any remaining marinade back over the chicken to keep it moist.
Continue cooking for an additional 7–8 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
